Those are the most easiest ways, but if you're a little sneakier and are okay with waiting in the bathroom for however long the assembly is, then you can do that instead. I don't recommend doing that though because most likely security and/or teachers might be going around and searching the bathrooms.

It includes Spirit Week, pep rallies, a banquet, a parade, a dance, and a football/basketball game. It differs from school to school, but generally they're big deals. At least it was in my school. We had dancers/performances similar to this, too. Also, a King and Queen is crowned.
